蔡樹育夫妻于民國七十二年，在花蓮鹽寮10號橋海邊找尋漂流木作木彫素材，巧遇海水沖蝕之硬砂岩雲母石及玫瑰石，見小小的石頭所呈現之色澤質感俱佳，內心深感欣喜，爾後繼續尋覓玫瑰石及硬砂岩，先觀察雅石紋路顯現之自然感，再配以木座收藏。鄰居楊國慶先生請我配木座，啟發日後替人配木座的機會，收購蒐藏更多收藏石。因所蒐購之石產地全部出於花蓮縣境內，故此專輯以洄瀾美石命名。
Brief Introduction of the Collector
In 1983, while Mr. And Mrs. Tsai Suyu were searching for drifting wood for his woodcarving material along the No. 10 Bridge in Yen Liao, Hualien, they saw the hard sandstone mica and Rose Stone occasionally washed out by seawater. He was extremely impressed by the color, cluster, and texture of these small stones. Deeply touched and delighted with the stones, he continued to search for Rose Stone and hard sandstone. In compliance with the natural texture of gracefully stone, it is loaded with wood stand to include into his collections. This idea of wood stand is inspired from neighbor, Mr. Ynag, Kuo-Ching, who asked me to find the wood stand for him and grant me the chances to collect and purchase more precious stones. Because the collected and purchased stones mostly come from Hualian area, for this reason the album is named " Whirling Wave of Beautiful Stones ".
Presently collected Rose Stone mostly is classified to the three-in-one grade that is texture, color and pattern. Moreover, people said﹕「Delighted in stone appreciation and never get tired of it」. It is a great joy in mental human life to share collection with friends of stone fan.
収蔵者紹介
蔡樹育夫婦は民国七十二年(1983)花蓮の塩寮10号橋の海辺で漂流木を探して木彫刻素材とした、その時海水に依って侵蝕された硬砂岩雲母石及びローズストンを見つけた、此の小さな石ことが、色沢及び質感共にとても良いのを見て、内心喜ぶに溢れ、その後継続してローズストンと硬砂岩を探し集めた、そして先づ石の紋模様が現している自然感を観察し、更に木の座を付けて収蔵した。近所の楊国慶様から木の座の取り合わせを依頼されて、その時から人に木の座の取り合わせるチャンスが多くなって、買収され収蔵された石も多くなった。買収されたローズストンの産地はすべて花蓮県の境域内なので、此の専集を「洄瀾美石」と命名した。
目前収蔵されているローズストンの大部分が質感、色沢、景色図三項目を合わせたクラスで、人々が曰くには：「石の鑑賞(石賞)は楽しく疲れを忘れ、石をもて遊び事(石玩)はとても嬉しい」、石の嗜みある友達と収蔵を分ち合う事は、確かに人生精神上の大きな幸せである。
